We are delighted to be powering up Santas Sleigh again this year in conjunction with Bishops Stortford & Stansted Round Table (BSSRT)
Things are a little different, but nevertheless Santa is still on his way, so keep an eye out for tour dates/locations to be released via the BSSRT Facebook page. The guys are starting to release dates now.
A Special Santa Announcement from Bishops Stortford & Stansted Round table……
As you may of you guessed, unfortunately this year’s sleigh will be very different, but we are determined that the children of Bishop's Stortford and Stansted will still see Santa, just from a safe distance!
We are intending to cover our usual routes starting from Friday 4th December. However, the BIGGEST change is that due to restrictions we will not be joined by our charity collectors & volunteers to knock at your door and offer buckets for you to put money into. Instead there will be a charity SMS text giving scheme.
We are going to operate a Space, Wave and Donate policy as detailed below. More information on Santa to follow shortly!!!
If you can, please support us by donating by text or using a contactless card/phone when we come round. Text BSSRT to 70470 to donate £2* and support local charities and causes..
To give more than £2, text BSSRT and the amount to 70470, for example:
Text "BSSRT 5" to 70470 to donate £5.
Text "BSSRT 10" to 70470 to donate £10.
Text "BSSRT 20" to 70470 to donate £20.
Please respect social distancing and stay on your property where possible. The sleigh will be operated by only a couple of elves and will not be stopping so please do not gather or approach Santa.
