We were thrilled when we were contacted last year by the media company behind ‘Salvage Hunters; Classic Cars’ to see if we could assist them with a classic car battery for a 1970’s Morris Minor van which they were restoring for the show. They also wanted to learn more about Lincon Batteries, our heritage and traditional engineering plus film the 291/11 battery being made.
The show was aired last Thursday 30th June 2022 on Quest TV (Discovery+ UK) and we still can’t quite believe just what a fabulous reaction we have received.

It was a fabulous day where our group MD Neil Butterfield got to meet one of the presenters Paul Cowland who in turn said, “It was awesome working with you guys!”
We loved being a part of the finale to the series with Drew Prichard, Paul Cowland and all the other specialist’s whilst having the opportunity to showcase classic engineering which hasn’t changed for more than 100 years.
